Men’s health — and especially men’s mental health — is a serious public health challenge. Harvard University reports that the gender gap in American life expectancy is about five years: 76 for men compared to 81 for women. +, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, suicide rates for men are approximately four times higher than rates for women, and construction has the second highest suicide rate among all industry groups.
